Enabling Aware IM to support requests outside localhost

Hi,

We have an Aware IM deployed on an amazon ec2 box with a public access IP and ports like 80, 8080 all enabled. I can ping this machine from outside. I would like to access the aware im url from outside this box. However, this doesnt work, though inside the machine localhost urls work.

I tried by adding / modifying <Connector port="8080" address="x.x.x.x"..> in tomcat server.xml as well as port "80".

Still Aware IM url wouldnt work outside the box.

Is there any config that needs to be fixed for this?

If this works inside the box, but doesn't work outside it, it has nothing to do with Aware IM. You need to take it up with your ISP
