I am still having problems with the dynamic update of HTML cells.
I have a simple bsv with 1 Business object which has 7 numeric Attributes:
GrandTotal
RateA
RateB
TotalA
TotalB
UnitA
UnitB
Attributes GrandTotal, TotalA and TotalB are all calculated.
I only have the following 3 rules which are all set to 'use rule in dynamic re-calculation on forms':
BO.GrandTotal=BO.TotalA+BO.TotalB
BO.TotalB=BO.UnitBBO.RateB
BO.TotalA=BO.UnitABO.RateA
On the Form GrandTotal, TotalA and TotalB are displayed in HTML cells with the HTML similar to the following:
<table frame="border" bgcolor="#ededed" width="125" height="20"><tr><th style="text-align:right"><<BO.TotalA>></th></tr>
When creating an object, I enter a number in UnitA
Tab to RateA and enter a number
Tab to UnitB and TotalA and GrandTotal update correctly
Enter a number in Unit B
Tab to RateB and TotalA and GrandTotal disapear
Enter a number in RateB
Tab out of RateB and TotalB updates correctly but GrandTotal displays the same amount as TotalB.
Press the create button.
Go find the record and display it
All fields show the correct values.
Change the number in UnitA
Tab to RateA and TotalA and GrandTotal update correctly
Tab to UnitB and nothing changes correctly
Change the value of UnitB
Tab to RateB and TotalA reverts back to its previous value, TotalB updates correctly and GrandTotals = the previous value of TotalA + the correct value for TotalB.
FYI: this was all done in Firefox. I get similar results in Internet Explorer and Chrome
Sample bsv is on the way to support
