Read Protect Record after created.

Hi their, how can i Protect a record from the user after he created it.

I want an Agent to create Communication Notes, but after he created the notes; that its protected from the Creator. The reason is that i dont want the creator to go back & edit notes afterwards & even be able to delete the note.

I used the following rule, but it does'nt work.

If CommunicationNote.MyNotes IS DEFINED Then
PROTECT CommunicationNote FROM ALL EXCEPT Administrator

Are you sure that you are not logged in as Administrator when you found the PROTECT not working?

Yes i am. Thats why i dnt understand why it doesnt protect the note after it was created.

The rule must work, unless your are administrator or MyNotes is defined. Is it unprotected in a query or in a form?
