Dynamic Reference

I want to set up a reference that comes into play based on an attribute value. For example BO 'A' has a reference 'B' which is single and peer. I only want 'B' to come into play based on the value of another attribute in BO 'A'.

Can someone suggest a rule to accomplish this if possible?

What do you mean by "coming into play"?

The current references I'm using appear as tabs on the main screen for the BO that refers to the referenced objects. I would like one that only is available there based on a variable in the BO referring to it.

I have a BO 'NSCPers' and a BO 'Military'. I want the reference 'Military' to only be available based on an attribute in 'NSCPers'.

Basically I'm trying to avoid separate screens for member types that have minor differences.

Looks like you just need to set the "availability conditions" of the form sections - the form section (tab) will only appear if the condition is met
