I know there are 72 points per inch. When I bring up the design mode the default ruler is delineated by 10 and the default grid is 10 when you show the grid. However the grid does not line up with the vertical or horizontal rulers. Even if I set the grid size to factors of 72 (6,12,24) the rulers stay at 10.
I'm trying to measure the placement of tags on a printed form and the rulers and grid are useless. I can only approximate and then with a painfully slow - adjust, test, adjust, test repetition - can I get the data placed correctly in the right box in the form. I'm burning a lot of trees here.
Also the place I finally spot the tag is not even close to where it should be on the design screen according to the rulers. What am I missing here?
