Display document without scrollbars

GertV

When I'm using the DISPLAY DOCUMENT command, my document opens in a new browser window (or as a popup when AS MESSAGE is used). My problem is that the document is bigger than the screen and both the browser and the popup window appear without scrolling bars. Hence the document cannot be read completely. I tested this with Safari and IE8.

Am I doing something wrong?

Gert.

Try the following:

1) Open the file AwareIM/Tomcat/webapps/AwareIM/aware_ext/aware.js
2) Search for "window.open" and locate the following line:
window.open (docURL, null, "height=800, width=1000, top=0, left=0, resizable=yes, menubar=yes, toolbar=yes");
3) Try changing it to this:
window.open (docURL, null, "height=800, width=1000, top=0, left=0, resizable=yes, menubar=yes, toolbar=yes, scrollbars=yes");
4) Refresh your browser or close it and re-open so that it picks up the changes

See if this fixes the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply. The solution you recommended works when the document is shown in a full browser window. However when AS MESSAGE is defined the popup still appears without scrollbars.

But I can live with this. So thanks again.
