I upgraded my machine from Win 7 RC 32 bit to Win 7 Pro 64 bit. It was a clean install. I have what appears to be a multitude of problems. I can load my BSV and lock it for testing but the login page just displays a bit of jibberish. I'm using MySQL.
I have reinstalled Aware more than a few times. I really don't care about my test data and I have preserved my BSV. I have also preserved by entire old computer in a virtual machine which is accessible to me.
Bottom line, can I get my environment back be copying particular directories from the AwareIM or MySql installations? It seams the more I work the farther away I get. If I had to scrub my Aware and MySQL installations and start over with my BSV, I am willing to do that and would probably need a product key reset from support. Lacking any better ideas, that's probably what I will do.
And if anyone has a reasonable checklist for environment migrations please post it.
