Remove Data from BASDB

Hi All,

I'm sorry if this is such a simple question, but I can't find it on Installation Guide, maybe I wasn't careful enough.
I installed Aware IM using default database (Derby). I want to remove all data from the published application (the data only, not the structure and setting, etc).
I see there are 3 folders under BASDB folder on the installation folder. Can anyone share a way to accomplish this?

Hi,

I came across this issue a while back and couldn't find a simple solution.

So, I just wrote a few short processes to FIND ALL particular instances of BOs, and then used DELETE BO to dump the unwanted data.

It's a bit tedious and is just a workaround.

I do like keeping my data operations within Aware rather than playing with the databases - but that's just me 🙂

Please also check the new CLEAN action - it is much more efficient than FIND/DELETE but should be used with care

Yes Peter, actually I need to delete the data yesterday. Since there wasn't (yet) any reply to this topic and I couldn't think of any 'more secure' way, I did the deletion like your way - within the application's operation 🙂
