Search for Values - fieldtype "Shortcut"

Hello,

as far as i have seen seen, with the field type "shortcut" i have a comfortable way to lookup values from the associated BO's.

Is it possible that my input value works as a substring (SQL "like %searchstring%"), or do this feature allways search for values "from left to right" (and case sensitive)?.

Not sure I understand the question.

Shortcuts are not the primary mechanism for lookups - references are. Please refer to the User Guide. Shortcuts are only needed for display purposes - primarily in queries.
