Delete Appointment from Calendar

You can create,change and reference an appointment in a calendar. Does anybody know how to delete an appointment in a calendar?

Click on an appointment with the right mouse button to bring up the context menu and select "Delete". You must have a Delete operation defined for the query that displays a calendar

There is no "Delete" option in the context menu when I right-click the appointment. There is a Delete operation defined for the query that displays a calendar. Have you got any other suggestion why it's not working?

What build are you using?

Do you have any PROTECT rules on this BO. Or any Access Level restrictions?

I had a PROTECT rule on StaffMember which I have removed now, although I am not clear about the effect of this rule on the ability to delete an appointment or not. The access level for the Appointment BO is defined as "Full access". But, I still can't delete an Appointment from a calendar, i.e. the Delete option is not showing in the context menu when I right-click on an appointment in the calendar.
Any other ideas?

Unticking the box "Use old calendar style" in Display Query Results fixed the problem. I knew it must be something that easy. Does that mean on the other hand that you can't delete any appointments when you use the old calendar style? What is the rationale for that? Is this going to be changed?
