Evaluation help required

Hi,

Is there a functional limit on the evaluation version you can download.

I am using version 4.7 (build 1246) on the Macintosh enviroment (10.6.1).

I keep getting integrity problems, trying to use ctrl-i, but doesn't seem to do anything. I have looked in the forum only found one reference, but that wasn't really helpfull, since there was only the question and some remarks.

I have tried to recreate the object (1) and everything seems to work fine with just regular text attributes, but as soon as I defined a attribute of timestamp of date (so far the only 2 I tried) I run into the same problem.

If i completly restart the server and config tool, the message disappears. But then as soon as I want to test the version same message appears.

No, there shouldn't be any limitations. Are you using a sample application as the basis for your work?

Please try running CTRL-I twice in a row - the second time may help elimintate the problem

I completely started over with an example application.

So far I haven't been able to recreate the problem, I saved the my app woth the problem into a bsv file. When i reload it, the same issue happens again.

I tried you're suggestion if by pressing CTRL-I twice in a row, it doesn't solve the integrity problem.

Q: when I press the "Check" button in the dialog is the same process executed as when pressing CTRL-I?

I am not sure what Check button you mean. Could you send your BSV to support@awareim.com with the description how to reproduce the problem?

First of all thank you for the reply's.

I haven't send the BSV because I can't recreate the problem, not even with my previous saved BSV file. Which is strange but let me not waste your time with chasing a phantom problem.

I was referring too the button in the dialog that comes up when you select Check Integrity from the toolbar or menu. The label actually reads "Run Check". My apologies for the confusion.

So to recap, I am currently working with a good working evaluation copy in the Mac OS X environment.

I have noticed one other anomaly, not related to this one. Just want to mention it. All the demo applications/Business spaces are included in the AwareIm.app.

If I want to run the CRM demo, it just doesn't work. I found out so far that the CRM app is trying to read data from the samples/crm directory.

This initialise process is started in the initialise process.

Is it only the CRM application? When you saying it doesn't work, what actually happens?

It seems so. I have only tested 2 demo-applications.

DocumentManagement, which worked.

The CRM applications first displays a dialog box, stating there is no data and needs to load sample data. When you click the button, something flashes on the screen. Can't read it, tried 3 times and then goes back to the login screen. By looking in one of the log files, i saw a reference about not able to find customer.csv. The file is not located in the directory.

I tried using the customer.csv from the order directory.

Then I stopped trying.

Customer.csv should be specific to the CRM app - Ordering won't work. This file definitely comes with the system, I don't know why it is missing on yours. If you want CRM to work try downloading another version into a separate directory and check if the file is there. If it is you can copy it to the first system.
