Access conrol over files I upload

I have a BO Doc and a attribute Letter of type DOCUMENT in it..
Whenever I upload a file (create instance of attribute Letter in Doc), I have these 3 options which appear along with it - upload,delete,view... But I want to have access conrol over this file I upload. I dont want all people to view /delete this file.. I want only some people to view this file and only some people allowed to delete this file... There doesnt seem to be any way to handle this.. Any thoughts on this one?

POSSIBLE BUG :
I have a query defined on BO Doc and an operation READ linked to every recordset
READ calls a process which has the follwing rules -
DISPLAY DOCUMENT Doc.letter AS MESSAGE

when i click on READ the document opens up in a new browser window and not in a message box..

You need to define access control rules for the attribute - Aware IM will disable the inappropriate buttons automatically.

This attribute Letter is of type DOCUMENT .. Whenver it is created, along with it 3 additional options (upload, view, delete) get added by default .. There seems to be no way to get rid of these options.. The same applies to Picture type attributes as well... As far as i am concerned , Access control rules cannot be defined for those additional options for these type of attributes..

Try PROTECT the object instead of the attribute. This way it will only let you view the document
