Hi All,
I created a BusinessObject named Apartment. This object has attributes:
-ApartmentNumber (type PlainText)
-Fee (type Number)
Then I created another Business Object named Cost. Cost has attributes:
-Apartment (type Apartment)
-ApartmentNumber (type shortcut, refers to Apartment.ApartmentNumber)
-ManagementFee (type shortcut, refers to Apartment.Fee)
On the Cost form, I displayed Apartment data as dropdown (display ApartmentNumber data), so that user may chose the apartment based on ApartmentNumber displayed.
What I want to ask is:
when I add a new Cost record, I chose the Apartment data, but the ManagementFee field on the Cost form doesn't change. Can its value be changed dynamically?
So that when I change to another Apartment data, the ManagementFee field value will also be changed at that time using the related Apartment.Fee. Is this possible?
I need the Cost.ManagementFee to be displayed when user change Apartment data in Cost form because the Cost.ManagementFee will be used for some calculation, so user needs to know its value.
Thanks for your help.
