Choose multiple items - like MS Outlook Categories

Is it possible to create an attribute that can select multiple choices from a user defined list? I'm thinking just like creating and choosing Categories in MS Outlook where the user can create categories then apply one or more by checking them off in a list. Ultimately, the attribute will contain a comma separated list of chosen items.

You can do this if the value to choose from is represented by an object. Then the first object will have a reference to the choice object. You can represent this reference as a "swap select" or as a "list". These offer an interface to select multiple. You can then write a rule that would concatenate the values
