Hi,
I'm trying to use Ajax to call into Aware without much luck. Having read the various posts on this forum I've got to connect OK, but sending login credentials should (according to Programmer's Guide p78-) return something like:
<login_action_return>
<session_id>62372304wdasda3243</session_id>
</login_action_return>
I get:
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8' ?>
<root>
<login_action_return>
<login_action_success>
<header business_space="fs" business_space_raw="BASTestDomainfs" user_name="admin" testing_mode="true" >
</header>
<visual_perspective name="Administrator" display_errors_in_status="true" theme="ext20/resources/css/xtheme-indigo.css">
<vpframe type="main" t
<lots of other text deleted>
I'm using 4.7, here's my connection code:
var url = "http://localhost:8080/AwareIM/xml.awr";
var params = "<login_action business_space=\"fs\" user_name=\"admin\" password=\"password\" testing_mode=\"true\" />";
http.open("POST", url, true);
//Send the proper header information along with the request
http.setRequestHeader("Content-type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded");
http.setRequestHeader("Content-length", params.length);
http.setRequestHeader("Connection", "close"); // comment out to keep connection open
http.onreadystatechange = httpStateChangeHandler;
http.send(params);
Any suggestions anyone? I've got cookies enabled in my browser, by the way. Not sure if that's relevant, other posts do mention that as a factor, but I think I should still expect back a session_id to use in other server requests.
Thanks,
SanMiguel
