I've created a process that prints a document with line items based on the setting of an attribute. Once the report has printed I want to reset that attribute so the items don't appear again unless the attribute is deliberately reset. The attribute has two possible values and I'm using a radio button to force an 'either/or' choice. I use this rule and it works:
FIND NSCPers WHERE (NSCPers.ReUpNewID='I' OR NSCPers.ReUpNewID='R') NSCPers.ReUpNewID = Undefined
Now I need to narrow the selection to those instances that 'belong' to LoggedInRegularUser.LoginName. Rather than look for just those instances that have the attribute set to 'R' or 'I' I thought I'd just reset the attribute in all instances for the user using this rule:
FIND NSCPers WHERE NSCPers.UnitCode = LoggedInRegulareUser.LoginName NSCPers.ReUpNewID = Undefined
This version returns the error that 'Undefined' is not one of the choices for the attribute. I can't seem to formulate a rule that selects 'I' or 'R' for just the logged in user without the same error. Is there another way to skin this cat?
Thanks for any help
