I created a query using the "simple form" entry and then took a look at the "FIND" rule via the "Rule Form". Now there doesn't seem to be the facility to see the "simple form" again.
The generated rule somehow doesn't look correct. I don't like the placement of the parenthesis.
FIND NSCPers WHERE (NSCPers.DateUpdated=?'Date Updated' AND NSCPers.MemberType='G')OR NSCPers.MemberType='W' OR NSCPers.MemberType='V' OR NSCPers.MemberType='Y' ORDER BY NSCPers.UnitCode,NSCPers.SocialSecurityNumber
I think the syntax should be like this
FIND NSCPers WHERE NSCPers.DateUpdated=?'Date Updated' AND (NSCPers.MemberType='G' OR NSCPers.MemberType='W' OR NSCPers.MemberType='V' OR NSCPers.MemberType='Y') ORDER BY NSCPers.UnitCode,NSCPers.SocialSecurityNumber
That's the way I'd frame the compound condition in another language.
Am I missing something or is this just the AwareIM way?
