Showing Confirmation Page

Hi.. Does anybody have any experience working on the below described scenario ? Kindly share your ideas..

When User creates a business object, I want a new window to open which shows all the details entered by the user.. Plus a Confirm & Back button on it .. Records are inserted to database on clicking the Confirm button. Clicking Back button would take the user back to data entry page..
To illustrate:
Create business object - > entry form is shown -> click on submit -> Confirmation page is shown with the entered data and a Confirm , Back button -> When confirm button is clicked the records are inserted to the database

I think that the best approach would be to create a duplicate BO and make it non-persisted. The user would create the non-persisted BO as part of a process. The BO would be kept in context for the next portion of the process which would include the confirmation functionality. If the BO is confirmed then the persisted BO would be created with the same entries as the non-persisted BO.
