SOAP Service not updated after changes

According to the user manual, after services are updated I log in to the browser to deploy the new version. Still, changes in the services are not reflected, for instance in the WSDL. Is TomCat caching this services, or are the deployed files not overwritten because of possible errors in the configuration?

One gotcha with this is that it doesn't work in the testing mode.

If you are not running the testing mode have a look at the Tomcat output immediately after login. There should be a line there saying that the system is deploying web services. If there are any errors they would be displayed there.

When the server is shut down and there is 'some time' until the next launch, the new services are deployed at startup.

At a login immediately after the changes there is no message about redeploy and no error messages...

I didn't find out how much 'some time' would be

Not sure I understand this. When you make changes to services or define new services you should login as administrator in the production mode to get them deployed. They are deployed immediately when the admin logs in.

No, that's not enough.

BS is published
Admin logs in to production. (Don't know if this step is neccessary)

Now: both the server and the config tool have to be restarted.
When admin logs in to production, the new services are recompiled and redeployed.

Without restarting the redeployment does not occur. After 2 days trying I am rather sure of it. Maybe it is not the exact story, but just changing & publishing does not work for me.

I managed to change the Default BS, and now the redeployment finds place as expected.

As it is now, the Server must be restarted after publish before I see redeployment.
