External Tables

Hello,
i am in the evaluation phase of AwareIM.
There exists a full Web Application under Classic ASP, which i want to migrate to AwareIM. I am asking myself, if its better to create all the business objects in AwareIM manually or if i should link them under "external table".
Are there advantages/disadvantages in if yes, which.
Would it influence the performace of my application?
*) My application is a tiny ERP solution, targeted to customers, who have at max. 50 users.

If the ASP application is not big and it does not have business logic in stored procedures that you don't want or cannot replicate in Aware IM, then it is DEFINITELY better to recreate it using native Aware IM objects rather than trying to connect to the existing tables.

One obvious advantage of this is database relationships - with native Aware IM objects you will have the Aware IM power of automatic relationships. If you use the existing tables you will lose this.
