I hope that I can explain my problem well enough.
I have the following BOs
Customer (Main BO)
Company (Peer to Customer...customer can belong to multiple)
Contracts (Reference to Customer...multiple allowed)
PurchasedUnits (Reference to Customer...multiple allowed)
I Customer can have multiple Contracts and multiple PurchasedUnits. I then created a reference in Contracts to allow the user to add Purchased Units to the Contract.
The filter that I am using on the reference element for
FIND PurchasedUnits WHERE Contracts.Customer IN PurchasedUnits.Customer AND Customer.Company IN Contracts.Company
The filter works great and only displays the PurchasedUnits that are part of the Company and associated to the Customer in question.
Thanks for staying with me...here is my problem; I can select the objects in the list using the ADD button and they are assigned to the Customer. THEN...if I go and select the ADD button again I am able to assign the objects again. I don't see them duplicated in the list but they are duplicated in the reference because all of my counts and sums are duplicated (or tripled...etc). I checked the table in MySQL and it is creating duplicated records.
I'm sure that I have configured something wrong but can't figure out how to get around this. I thought that I might be able to adjust the filter on the reference so that it would not display previously selected PurchasedUnits but to know avail.
Thanks for any help!
