Hi,
Now that the dust has settled, I thought that I would just summarize the events that occurred in case anyone else has similar issues.
At some point last week, I uploaded a new version of one of my bsv's that had some half finished processes that caused all kinds of memory issues in a bsv with tens of thousands of records. The server ultimately locked up and I had to restart the AwareIM Server.
When this happened, hundreds of processes were caught in limbo in multiple business spaces causing me to be unable to upload new versions for any of these business spaces. I believe that all of these 'waiting' processes were also causing a massive memory drain as my server was very unstable for a few days.
In order to solve the problem, I restarted the server to kill a bunch of 'running' processes that were several days old and then manually cancelled close to five hundred processes via the 'Active Processes' menu item in the various business spaces.
Since then, the active processes are generally blank in the various business spaces, I am able to upload new versions and the server is back to being stable again. (and so is my heartrate again)
Cheers,
Pete
