Back Button Behaviour..

I have a query defined with an operation VIEW which calls a process to view the record ( VIEW BO using form NOEDIT) But , back button never shows up if this is the first action i perform after logging in... if i have any other action performed (eg. run a process) and then run the query and view the record BACK button shows up... This is confusing me..

Back button only appears if there's anything to go back to. There is nothing to go back to if you just login.
