tford Change Login Details just used the editing form of the LoggedIn SystemUser. You can use EDIT action in a process just like any other BO.
kklosson Yeah, I've working on just that. I built a specific form with the password and a verify password attribute. I'm having trouble though. I have a rule on the object that if BO.Password WAS CHANGED and BO.Password<>BO.VerifyPassword, then REPORT ERROR. But for some reason it's giving me trouble and not validating correctly. So before I work too hard I wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking a simple built-in way to do this.
tford I remember reading a post recently about password encryption issues. The changelog also mentioned "Support for password attributes" in Build 1210. I wonder if that might help?
kklosson It might. The other problem I have is that I would like my VerifyPassword attribute to present password dots and I see no way to do that.
tford In build 1210, it looks like a Plain Text attribute can meet your needs: 1) Click on Presentation 2) You will see 2 check box options: a) Password field b) Requires confirmation
tford Most times there are posts to these forums with a few bug fixes... saying that an issue was fixed in build xxxx. You can find a list at http://www.awareim.com/changelog/ I monitor the changelog at http://www.changedetection.com & get a daily email if it changes.
kklosson Wow! These presentation features are exactly what I needed TODAY! This zipped up the whole function that I was working on today. Nice work and kudos to the Aware IM team! Big Thanks!
rocketman If you just build a standard form with an editable password atribute, when you click save or create, AwareIm automatically prompts to confirm the password. No rules, no verify fields - it just does it
