Scalability - Build Out Best Practice

We wanted to know if anyone has deployed a Business Space/Application with AwareIM to more than 100 concurrent user base?

Or where there are Lookup's and Queries on 100k + record sets?

Yes we have deployed an application on an environment that currently has 55 concurrent users and that has queries running on well over 200k records.

AwareIM can be memory intensive on such a large environment but with server machine well optimised and plenty of RAM the application causes minimum headaches.

Well we have a good situation where as we have an available server farm and wanted to know the Best Topology/Infrastructure setup for a large deployment.

Using MySQL over MSSQL is new for us as well as hosting large Apps based on JBOSS/Tomcat

I supose we should check there forums for tunning and design issues which we may encounter
