Remote Developer - How To Configuration Tool

Hello,

We have AwareIM deployed in our hosted server and would like our Remote Developer to be able to connnect to the Business Space

Is this possible?

If so, where can we configure the SQL settings

When we installed we placed the servers public IP

Using the same credentials which allow us to login on the server we get this error

"Error establishing connection with the server.ERROR: org.openadaptor.adaptor.jms.JMSSink............."

1) We have port 9000 open. Are there others?

You can only run the Configuration Tool on the same LAN, not across the Internet. If you ARE running it across a LAN, then please see the Installation Guide for setup details.

There are also multiple posts on this forum about running the Configuration Tool remotely. Please search them for tips if you find the information in the Installation Guide insufficient (it shouldn't be)

Is your server windows or linux? I have a windows VPN (server 2003) I use remote desktop into the server and run the developement tool that way.

Yes we have the same - I was just thinking about a group development environment but we will use the VPN method also and not work in parallel
