Tom,
I tried your suggestion. If I execute a query and use a hyperlink from the resulting custom presentation to run a process, it works as expected.
But, if I execute a query and and use a hyperlink from the resulting custom presentation to run another query and use a hyperlink from that resulting custom presentation to run a process, it does not work as expected. See below for details.
TEST ONE (does not work as expected)
I have the following objects and attributes:
object1
MyObject2 with type=object2, Multiple allowed=yes, Relation to object2=Owner of, Matching attribute in object2=MyObject1
name with type=Plain Text
object2
MyObject1 with type=object1, Relation to object1=Owned by, Matching attribute in object1=MyObject2
name with type=Plain Text
Queries:
Query1: FIND ALL object1 the results will be displayed in a custom presentation which has a hyperlink to run Query2
Query2: FIND object2 WHERE object2 IN object1.MyObject2 the results will be displayed in a custom presentation which has a hyperlink to run Process1
Processes:
Process1 with Process Input of both object1 and object2 and action DISPLAY MESSAGE object2.name
When I run Query1, I get a list of object1.
When I click on a hyperlink, I get a list of object2 belonging to the object1 I clicked.
When I click on a hyperlink, I get a 'Select process input' screen displaying all of the object2's in the system.
This not what I want.
TEST TWO (works as expected)
Same objects as TEST ONE
Query:
Query3: FIND ALL object2 the results will be displayed in a custom presentation which has a hyperlink to run Process2
Processes:
Process2 with Process Input of only object2 and action DISPLAY MESSAGE object2.name
When I run Query3, I get a list of all object2s.
When I click on a hyperlink, I get the message displaying object2.name.
