Windows Server 2008 Firewall & Configuration Tool

I have a problem using the Windows Server 2008 Firewall (enabled) with the Configuration Tool in a local Network.
I have opened all Ports (TCP):
1098, 1099, 4444, 9000, 8080, 8090-8092, 3732-3764, 8005, 8009, 5001
The problem now is that the configuration tool does not connect when the firewall is enabled, after disabling the firewall the connection works.

What do I have to change?

The Configuration Tool is intended to be BEHIND the firewall. If it is not, then you are riding your luck. We cannot guarantee that it will work with the firewall on. There are some discussions on this forum about this - some people tried to do that and I can't remember the result.

As a matter of curiosity, why is this so?:

Is this a third-party component you are using that is causing this?
If so, which one?
