Renaming SystemSettings BO

Are there any technical problems in changing the name of the SystemSettings BO to something else?

Answered my own post...appears that it is not possible.

This would be another great opportunity to use an Alias to replace the BO name...since I have someone who doesn't like seeing SystemSettings showing up at the top of the form and in other areas in the app. Mainly because the SystemSetting object is used as a top-level object in the application and refers to something totally different (and the business owner doesn't like object names that are not separated)

Does anyone else run into this problem? Workarounds??

Object name on top of the form is a default only. You can easily change it to anything you like by providing a caption for the form section.

I would agree with your statement to an extent.

That is only true if you display a form without any tabs. The minute you add tabs the caption displays on the tabs not on the top of the form. The name of the form defaults to the BO name (see the Customer form in the CRM app for an example).

80% of my forms use tabs (great Aware feature!) which means that the only way I can control the name of the form is by changing the BO name. I am backed in a corner on this one I guess.

Build 1206 now has the feature that lets you specify a caption of the form explicitly.
