CSS question

In the CRM applic., if a form has only one section the background is blue. As soon as a 2nd section is defined the background becomes white on all form sections.

I'm wondering which CSS / keyword controls this behaviour and how I could obtain the background color of choice ?

Thanks

This is a difficult question - we are not sure. We have tried to change it once but couldn't (this is controlled by EXT) You will need to experiment with the CSS settings.

From my googling, I came across the following :

http://www.devarticles.com/c/a/JavaScript/Building-Dynamic-Web-Forms-with-the-Ext-JS-Framework/2/

and

http://www.devarticles.com/c/a/JavaScript/Creating-a-Multitabbed-Online-Form-with-the-Ext-JS-Framework/2/

The 2 form samples show exactly as in AwareIM, i.e. blue background in single form and white background in multi-tabbed form.

Thus, I seems like a default ext-js behavior.

I have been searching in AwareIM .js and .css files, but I can't figure out how the form is rendered. So, for me, difficult is the first name !

Could it be that the background "color" is in fact the result of a gif image instead of a css bgcolor keyword ?

No, this is the CSS issue, but we don't know which settings to change.

In the ext-js forum, I found the change to be made in ..ext20\ressources\css\ext-all.css :

.x-border-layout-ct .x-tab-panel{background:#deecfd;}

This gives the light blue background in tabbed panels. BUT, it doesn't work in FF3, only in IE7.

As there are quit a few issues in ext-js 2.0.x versions, are you going to update it ? Maybe in parallel to updating the theme files ...

Further readings seem to indicate this was a bug fixed in 2.0.2 according to this thread :

See what happens when ext-js is upgraded.

And now the locale settings come into play !

As my next topic is multi-language, I did a quick trial with defining 2 Locales in the config tool.

And, oh surprise, when I switch the locale in FF3, then the tabbed panel background no longer displays white but light blue !!

Bad luck, I should have started with the Locale in the 1st place.
