There is a query that displays instances from a BO "NSCPers". I want to use this query for any logged in user but limit results to instances of the query that have an attribute that matches the logged in user's name.
I have "RegularUser" with "LogInName" of "054AXV" and an attribute "Status" set to 'CO'. The BO "NSCPers" as an attribute "UnitCode". I want only the instances of "NSCPers" with "UnitCode" = "054AXV" to show up in a query when "RegularUser.LoginName" = "UnitCode". The following rule doesn't want to work.
If NOT(LoggedInRegularUser.Status = 'CO' AND LoggedInRegularUser.LogInName = NSCPers.UnitCode) THEN PROTECT NSCPers FROM Field.
I would have thought "PROTECT NSCPers FROM RegularUser" would be the correct syntax but it demands an access level.
Field is the access level code assigned to RegularUser. I know there are at least 30 some instances of NSCPers with UnitCode = "054AXV" which is the LoggedInRegularUser.LogInName but the query shows no results.
Can someone explain what's wrong here.
Many thanks.
