Query Presentation Rules

I have a simple query that I would like to have one element display in red under a certain condition. When I open the "Presentation Rules" I can select the item I want to apply a condition that changes the color but there doesn't appear to be anyway to create an expression to state the condition.

i.e. If ExpireDate < Last_Day_Of_Month(Current.Date) then .... etc.

Any entry of a boolean symbol < > = produces an error and functions aren't allowed either. How/where do you accomplish this?

The format would be BOname.Attribute>stuff.

1) you do not need to type in the IF
2) you need both BO name & attribute

OK, I understand now. Is there somewhere in the documentation that discusses how to use that bit of the configuration tool - what's permissible and what is not?

Not sure about the documentation.

It's a boolean check like I mentioned above.

There is a date I'd like to check for either occuring in the present month or older than the current date and display in red.

i.e. If today is 03/15/2009 and the object.date is either equal to or less than 03/31/2009. Evidently you can't use functions in those conditions.

Can I test for the month/year of a date attribute and compare it to the month/year of the current date?

Did some quick testing & you can

1) Calculate & store the current month in RegularUser BO
2) Use #1 in the Item Rules like:
BOname.CurrentMnth=LoggedInRegularUser.CurrentMnth

I'm not sure why you can't use SystemSettings in a Query's Item Rules??

After some futher reading I think will just use another query for listing those instances. The "LAST_DAY_OF_MONTH" function will work just fine as a query criteria expression. More than likely the user will be looking for just those instances when that's the knowledge needed.
