Document PopUp Problem help request

I have a document that is created from my application which runs perfect on one computer but the same document on another computer (XP Pro) runs and the window opens and then is killed before the document is displayed.

I have turned off every pop up blocker I can find. I've lowered security settings, I've turned off Windows Firewall and Antivirus.

Does anyone have any other ideas? I have about 4 users with the same problem?

The problem machines are all XP Pro running IE 7

Any help, ideas, prayers, or cards of encouragement would be fantastic! :oops:

This is probably not at all what you want to hear, but it is a suggestion 🙂

Use Firefox.

If you specify Firefox as the browser to open your application url in a desktop shortcut, essentially making Firefox the default for your application, you will have much greater control over browser features including pop-ups.

A technique I use is to switch off the Firefox menu and toolbars, giving a very clean UI with only your application in a minimalist browser window. This also stops your users clicking the browser's navigation buttons.
