Is there a way to use RunTime fields. For example, I have a report with a status. The status can contain 5 possible values. If the value is Complete then I want the value "Complete" if it is any other value then I want the value "Not Complete". I want the report to group on this new RunTime Field.

I know how you do this in Crystal by creating Formula fields. Is there a way to do this within AwareIM without having to have a attribute within the BO that gets updated by a Rule?

I don't think this is possible.

Just curious, why don't you want to use an attribute?

Because from my perspective it seems like bad design. I only need the "formulated" information at run-time of the report.

Not sure I understand this completely but it sounds like you need conditional fields in the report - please have a look at the User Guide for "conditional elements"
