Process Actions for copying data from one BO to another

I am new to AWARE and am a little lost in the proper syntax/approach when using process actions

I have BO called ScheduleTemplateDef (contains templatedefid,name, type, and active indicator of templates) and then a related BO ScheduleTemplateTasks (templatedefid,order, task, key indicator).

I would like to select a Template, and then copy that Template's tasks into a ProductSchedule BO. The SQL call is basically

INSERT INTO ProductSchedule(ORDER,TASK,KEYIND)
SELECT ORDER,TASK,KEYIND FROM ScheduleTemplate
WHERE templatedefid = @id (where @id is the temlatedefid that was selected)

Do I use a PICK and then a CREATE...FOR EACH - are these two Actions or should they be consolidated into one?

is there an example of a similar process in one of the sample bsvs?

Process Input: ParentBO
Rule: ENTER NEW ParentBO WITH ParentBO.Attribute1=ThisParentBO.Attribute1, ParentBO.Attribute2=ThisParentBO.Attribute2, ParentBO.RefAttribute=ThisParentBO.RefAttribute

What is "Process Input: ParentBO" - is this another action on the same process, or is it an entirely new process that will be referenced within the rule?

Can you point me to an example? Thanks again

On the General tab for the process, there is a section in the middle of the screen labeled Process Input.

Click on ParentBO in the Available types section on the left side of the screen & click the right arrow to push it over to the right side of the screen.
