published bsv function does not work

Having just completed a function(s) to a bsv that gathers data ,creates accured interest for customers, vendors among other item such as reports and date bearing calculations

This all works perfect in the test environment but when the bsv is published the following does not work...

Merchant.PaymentPastDays=DAY_DIFFERENCE(CURRENT_DATE,Merchant.PaymentLastDate)

returns the following from the logs

Value was not changed because it was equal to the old value PaymentPastDays=<UNDEFINED>

I have verified that object.PaymentLastDate is being set prior to the following. Any ideas would be great, maybe i need to step away for a few minutes.....

Just a guess here.

When you say it works in test environment, but not when published, do you mean on the same machine / database environment? Or, are you testing in Derby and publishing & using MySql?

I wonder if it's similar to issue support posted just a day or two ago at:

Yah i did reference that post late last night, but the issue is persistent on the same machine /db.

It cannot be the difference between testing and regular modes. These modes operate identically. Please check LogViewer and see which rule triggers the error.
