Hi,
We are working on some designs catalog application, in which we store some photos and details related to the designs.

We have a requirement of thumbnail viewer like feature in our application.

so does anyone have idea regarding or worked, please suggest.

And it seems this feature be a great usage if we have in the awareIM, by clicking on the image we got a zoom in preview.

currently if we have any image attach, then mostly we can see the configured size like 150x150px which is very small on the screen.

I did something like this for a client recently. It displays photos stored on another server, then uses HTML stored in plain text AwareIM attributes & displayed in AwareIM forms and queries. In this case the links to the photos are imported into AwareIM in a CSV file. A similar approach should be possible using photos stored on an AwareIM server.

I've also been experimenting recently creating XML files from information stored AwareIM & then using displaying the results in AwareIM forms and queries. This uses a combination of HTML stored in plain text AwareIM attributes and SWFs stored on the AwareIM server. I have been successful in preliminary tests integrating:

1) Charts & widgets at http://www.fusioncharts.com/free/
2) Calendar at http://www.usflashmap.com/products/flash_calendar/flash_calendar_pro.htm

Oops --- in my haste to get out the door, I forgot to say that the same approach of writing XML from AwareIM could be used with quite a few different XML driven flash slide show tools on the market.

Its great you already done something similar, but here i am looking to show the preview of the 150x150 thumbnail bigger (Zoom) when clicked by user. so he can see the bigger size of the product image on the same screen or a popup, like in above i gave a URL link where it is done in a very nice way, when you move mouse over the first image it show a maginfier, onclick it will zoom in the picture. and this all done with the help of javascript.

And coz of very lite code (JS) easy to integrate into awareim.

Now the point is how we do so?

Your approach also sounds good, like if we integrate some widget to our application and interact with the awareIM data (here data relate to image data) store, we can do much more with..

i have never done such integration but always keen to do as soon as possible..as this type of feature make my awareIM application more better.

if some more tips you can share regarding integration then it be a great help for me.

This is much too complicated to explain in a forum post. If you have a need for this commercially, please contact me via PM.

My intent is to ultimately provide a sample BSV to AwareIM for their potential inclusion in their sample applications. My sample BSV is not polished enough for that type of publication yet though. I am trying to fit further refinement of that BSV into my other priorities.
