Server Was Unable to Generate Document

I'm still on the trial software and I just upgraded to 4.1 (thank you). Since then, any attempt to create a document from Word results in the subject message.

How do you generate the document? By a process or from the browser?

Not sure what you by "from a browser", but I do it from an operation invoked from a form.

Sorry, I just mean that the subject line of the message is what the error message says - "The Server Was Unable to Generate the Document".

Our tests seem fine.

There may be some problem with your application. This message is now shown if the server has to generate several documents. For example, if you have several business objects in the context and you ask to generate the MS Word document, the server will generate several documents - one for each instance of the object. But it will not display several documents and will generate this error message instead.

Previously it used to display the first document. Check how many instances of the object there are in the context.

Thank you. I clearly had the document query mis-configured. This was the first document I made and when I look at it now, I don't even know what I was thinking. Works good now.
