I remember my first 30 days well & you are doing very well.
- Is a Notification always an outbound email or can it simply be an internal message from one BO to another?
If you right click on Notifications in the Config Tool, you will see the notification types: Incoming & Outgoing emails as well as Login / Logout stuff.
They are not for internal messages between BOs although notifications kind of look like a special BO -- with attributes, etc. Notifications do work in conjunction with BOs.
If you load the Library sample app & look at the IncomingEmail notification, you will see the rule "Register incoming email". That rule defines what AwareIM does when an incoming email is received. It finds the appropriate member & creates an instance of the ReceivedEmail BO.
