AwareIM URL command parameters

The following URL works fine:

http://appsrv01:9080/AwareIM/logonOP.aw?domain=SalesCRM&dynamic=true&testingMode=true&firstCommand=editObject,Product,34246

When I switch the logonOP.aw to the logonDirect.aw it doesn't handle the parameters. Is this something that was overlooked in the implementation of the logonDirect.

My opinion is that being able to have people directed to a Business Space with a specific Object opened is a big plus. We embed these URLs into email notifications so that the end user can "dive" directly back into the object.

We'll definitely do it in the next build, but at the moment I can't say exactly when this build will be released. Most probably in a few weeks as it will also have new features.

I tried the following URL. It doesn't bring up the product I am requesting.

My logonDirect.html is custom. You customized it a while back. You told me to copy it in everytime I do an upgrade.

This is where the problem is. Please add the following lines at the beginning of the file:

Old post, some time has passed, I'm wondering if this can be progressed any further?

We would like to use this but feel like it is "almost" there, our issue is similar to above:

Purpose: Send an email to a user, like a notification that a Task has been assigned to them. Put a link in the email so the user can click it and go straight to the Task.

We have built a link like this:
https://ourIP/AwareIM/logonOp.aw?domain=test&errorPage=loginerror.html&logonPage=login.html&dynamic=true&firstCommand=editObject,Tasks,2816,new_tab

Issues:

if user is already logged in then opens a NEW browser tab and logs them in again, so they now have 2 logins happening - it would be great if it just opened the Task in the existing browser session, has anything happened in the last few years to make that possible now?
if user is not logged in, it shows the Login page (with firstCommand in the URL), they enter their credentials BUT it doesn't open the Task - it would be great if it still performed the firstCommand - could it?

Its the first time I have seen the " &errorPage=loginerror.html&logonPage=login.html" in such a url which interesting - is this in the user guide ?

Maybe if you remove the "&logonPage=....." it would solve the new login problem
