well, there could be more reasons:
- MYSQL could be too much overhead for a small application
- ORACLE has limited User-Tablespace
- Build in Derby would be fine, but has search limitations (only case-sensitive)
So, if a user wants a easy database without case sensitive search only Firebird could be an option.
I will try this over the weekend (if I find time) and will post my findings.
