A number of people (including Rem recently on the 'Wish List Update' thread) have talked about wanting more examples / sharing of AwareIM ideas between users. Some have suggested that AwareIM take the lead in this area. Rather than divert their attention for continued aggressive development of this product / features, let's get this started on our own.
Here are some ideas / suggestions:
1- BSV sharing. Since this forum does not allow attaching BSVs, you might need a third party account at a service like Media Max where you can get 25 gig of free file storage. BSVs could be uploaded there, then shared on this forum via link
2- Screen Shot sharing. We could use a free tool like Wink to make & annotate screen shots or even make flash demos that would then be posted on this forum by link or embedded screen shot.
Of course this kind of thing is only as good as the # of active participants who are willing to share their own learnings with others. I'm interested to find out if others would be active in investing some time to share their own AwareIM Best Practices / learnings.
