Ok I having a brain fart big time..... I am coming off a few weeks of writing php and man am I having a hard time getting back to Aware

Simple 4 BO's

Customer -contains all the customer data
Shipping - contains shipping information ie shipping address etc
Orders - no explanation needed
Group Type - contains customer pricing info

I am missing something dumb here.. but if I want create a order and show the shipping address and customer data in the order OB form along with group price blah blah blah. But I can not seem to get it to operate correctly

Don't laugh I know it need to get back into the "aware" state of mind

Hey Chris,

It's not a problem. Just today I worked on Business Object Enterprise, Crystal Reports, MS Access, MS Project, Visual Studio, MS CRM, Javascript, HTML, TOAD, Oracle, SQL Server, IIS, Pro Tools....and Aware. It gets to be a bit of a brain scramble after a while.

As long as you have established the appropriate references between your objects you can display the data from another BO as a Shortcut.

Create a new attribute in the BO that you want to display a refenced object and select Shortcut as the attribute type. Then simply select the item from the referenced object that you want to display.

eg. Order BO create new attribute called ShippingAddressSC and add ShippingAddress.Address

Hopefully this will keep you on track.
