Wait for process to end

Hi,

I have a process that is multi-step that takes approx. 20 seconds to run on average which is not a problem.

However, if the longest duration step is not the final step, the process seems to move onto the final steps before it has finished running the longest duration step. Is there a way to ensure that one step is fully completed before the process moves onto the next step? I want the final step to be the calling of a query rather than just showing that the process has completed. Does the hourglass operation do anything other than show the hourglass?

Instead of one multi-step process, I wonder if having the process call another process would solve this??

Thanks Tom but the problem is that it jumps to the next step before it finishes the last one whether the next step is an operation or a call to another process.

The process should never jump to the next step before completing the current one. Are you sure that this is what is happenning???
