I would like some advice on how to manage multiple developers contributions to a new development effort. I see some support for versioning, but it looks like you can only import/export the whole system.
I see no way to merge config files. Thanks, Dan

Hi Dan,

Business space versions can be merged in the Configuration Tool by copying configuration elements (in the tree panel on left) from one version and pasting them into another. This way you can copy attributes, rules, processes, objects, queries, etc.

After merging you can run the Integrity Checker to check for any inconsistencies.

This may be fine for a couple of developers with a project of modest complexity. Once a project has more than two developers and you have a hundreds of items in the object panel, this approach will become a problem with human error in memory and execution of the merge.

What about breaking up the implementation into subsystems which could run in separate IM servers. I remember reading where IM has a channel type for this. I don't know if this is advisable based on performance experience.
