I really like the external database feature but I'm missing one point.
Whenever you make any adjustments to the target database (like changing username/password or moving the db to a different host) you have to make these changes in the configuration tool.
What I'd really love to see is the ability to make these changes in a similar way like the Incoming|Outgoing Mail settings in the BO SystemSettings.
Maybe you could but this on the wish list (although this list seems to get longer and longer during the last days...)
