Let me add an explanation to this…
In the past couple of years, this function was edited to support regular expressions.
But if you don’t need regular expressions, then sometimes just trying to replace a double quote or single quote or a $can be really a pain.
So I asked Vlad to bring this back to the simple non-regex version so we don’t have to add in the back escape character because regex was involved.
