New User Registeration

We are trying to implement new user registration in the traditional AwareIM way, following the Library example, but it throws a connection error at the end every time. There is definitely something we might be missing or doing incorrectly. No specific logs are generated for this event.

When a user fills the form and clicks the Save button, the system returns a connection error, although the user record is still created in the backend object.

If anyone has faced a similar issue or has tips to resolve it, your input would be greatly appreciated.

Does the library example work fine ?

Are there any actions after the registration like sending an email? If so, try disabling and testing.

No Library example also show the same issue but on awareim.com sample application it works.

I have installed the Library application.

The HTML snippet is :

<a href="javascript: AwareApp.newUser('Member','main');">
   <img name="menu_register" src="menu_button_register.png">
</a>

calls the built-in AwareApp.newUser() function.
The first argument ‘Member’ tells AwareIM which Business Object should be created – in the Library demo this is the Member BO.
The second argument ‘main’ tells AwareIM in which Perspective the new user form should be displayed – in the demo this is the main perspective.
