Currently reviewing Aware IM as a possible solution:
We are looking for a new tool to develop a Utility Billing Package for 2500 customers for electric, water, sewer, refuse, and television services. This entails importing of meter readings and inputting of start-stop dates for services. At month end we need to generate a consolidated bill for services. This also includes creating an XML file for rtansport to an outsourced printing company to print our bills.
Q1 - Has anyone generated an elaborate billing system processing about 15000 records per run - monthly? How is the performance of Aware IM in performing such functions.
Q2 - Programs such as bill creation require a tremendous amount of logic to access mutiple tables and rates, how is Aware IM in "logic" programming to accomplish these tasks?
Q3 - How is the printing functions and report generating within Aware IM?
Q4 - Our Application will be menu driven, how well does Aware IM work in creating a distributed user desktop application.
