1) There are many simple ways to adjust the look of the standard forms to give them quite different appearance. These include:
a) Colors of different elements of the form. By adjusting colors you can remove the thin lines separating rows, the background of the vertical label column, the form caption/border, etc.
b) Font sizes and colors for different elements of the form.
c) You can control the size of the entire form and/or separate elements like the label column.
d) You can have multiple columns of attributes on forms.
e) You can place several attributes into one cell on the form layout and arrange them either horizontally or vertically.
f) You can insert HTML fragments into forms to show text, lines, borders, hyperlinks to start operations, etc.
g) You can change or completely remove a label for a particular attribute so it does not appear on forms.
h) You can define separate forms for special occasions and change the appearance of attributes on a particular form, so that the same attribute would be presented differently on different forms.
If a combination of these options is still not sufficient, you can add your own custom HTML forms or use AJAX.
2) Printing is handled automatically by the browser. When you select Print command for a document displayed in the browser, the browser will show you the standard printing dialog for the document. Therefore, you can continue to use your method of selecting fax as a default printer.
The above applies to manually printing documents from the browser on a client computer. If you have a print operation inside a rule, it will be performed on the server where Aware IM is installed. The document will be printed on the default printer for the server computer.
